Government

Okay, what’s in your budget and how are you going to manage it? Whether you’re a municipal, state or federal governmental department you need vehicles to give your personnel the capacity to perform their jobs more safely and more effectively. In that light, the vehicle becomes a tool to accomplish a task. Do you normally purchase tools that are inadequate for the mission? If you need space and a four-wheel drive, the full size Ford and GM vans are the largest commercially available vehicles out there and are more affordable than any of the custom built units. We have been told it is better to have one vehicle with 2 deputies to move 12 detainees than to have 2 vehicles and 4 deputies to move the same number. Sound familiar? “To do more with less” has become a mantra in today’s economy.

Another consideration of any vehicle purchase is anticipating the maintenance and minimizing any down time. That is why we have incorporated all Ford components on the Ford van and GM components on the GM van. As you can see, all high wear items are “off the shelf” components.

Part of our strategy here at Quigley is to lend support in networking with companies to provide a resource for suggestions in developing different platforms. Whether it is for detention and removal, mobile response, electronic newsgathering, or other non-tactical applications, we have resources to draw on that may help you accomplish your mission.

Our 72,000 sq. ft. facility, logistical professionals in our traffic department, and the adjoining acreage can handle any fleet size request. As an example, 300 units deployed to Camp Victory had to be completed and coordinated with ships leaving from the port within a very ridged time frame. Mission accomplished!
